to me

My new address thank you for those two emails. Your first email made me cry I love you so much my p day is now Monday. I need a lot of support and love because as you guys now It takes a lot of strength and courage to stay on a mission. I had my first district meeting on Wednesday and we talked about what people gave up for us for us to go on a mission and that got me thinking if I came home early then I would have spent all that money for nothing except for me to learn about what it is like to be on a mission but any way I don't think I could live with wasting your guys money because I could not make it two years without seeing or talking to you guys.

P.S you can email me anytime but I can only email you back on my p days thank you for that beautiful song I have noticed that the days go by fast when I'm focused on duty as a missionary

From an Apostle:

Elder Neil L. Andersen: “You Know Enough”
“Nearly 40 years ago as I contemplated the challenge of a mission, I felt very inadequate and unprepared. I remember praying, ‘Heavenly Father, how can I serve a mission when I know so little?’ I believed in the Church, but I felt my spiritual knowledge was very limited. As I prayed, the feeling came: ‘You don’t know everything, but you know enough!’ That reassurance gave me the courage to take the next step into the mission field.”

Elder Zortman,
I did not know that today was p-day! You are leaving the MTC! How exciting! You get to start your adventure now. I can’t wait to see where your first area will be. Let the fun begin. Have you heard where you will be? Hopefully now you are out of the MTC you will have a bit more time to write. I want to hear about everything. You need to write more than 2 sentences. Well I guess you get a nice bus ride. Hopefully you bike arrived from Ranon. You will need to remember to send her a thank you email. You can send it to me and I can get it to her. Love you son!! I am so proud of your dedication and service.

Love Mom
