Hoooollllyyyy coww what's up y'all?? Ok. Close your eyes. We're gonna do one of these numbers. Imagine this. 2 transfers left on the mish. Ok you can open them. Wild right. And kind of depressing. But also kind of cool. Honestly just a whole bottle of mixed emotion. But we still got a whole 12 weeks to absolutely grind out the work, sprint through the end. Y'all excited?? Same. Let's dive in!
So this week was a whole lot of the same we always do. Skrrt around, visit people, testift about Jesus, the Book of Mormon, and how to find true joy, and absolutely just have a blast while doing it. And we got a whole lot of work done this week. Starting out the week, last P-day Elder Branham and I went and hit some dingers in golf. They had a driving range and course here that we checked out. Elder Branhams a legend at golf, and he helped me get my swing down so check me out at the Masters in a few years.
Then the rest of the week was a whole lot of the same. Our teaching pool has really stagnated a whole lot, so this week was a lot of clearing out some of the old people to make room for some friends who are willing to let God prevail. We probably moved on from about half our teaching pool. But, as the Lord does, He helped us work some major miracles this week. So basically what happened, is we were fed up with a few people not understanding why we do what we do, in helping people join the restored church of Jesus Christ. So we took our trusty Ward Mission Leader, Bro. Coates, and decided we were going to have a few drop lessons. Boldness is Bro Coates middle name, so you get why we brought him along. We went by three of our main people, and let Bro Coates loose. And he threw down. A few hours, and three absolutely fire lessons later, we left with all three on soft baptismal date and committed to coming to church. Which is a miracle y'all, people don't like to committ to anything out here. So that was so sweet.
We also have been working hard on our neighbor named Chase, who's been going through a whole lot. He was wanting to meet with us a few weeks ago, but life's just been the absolute whirlwinds so he pushed us off for a little bit. He also wanted to do some research on us first. So that happened. But then, fast forward to this week. Side story-- We were making lunch, when we saw a few cockroaches coming out from under our fridge. I pulled the fridge out, and the biggest nest was under there. We cleaned that mess up. Then we saw them coming out from the electrical stuff under the fridge. We took the cover off-- hundreds of cockroaches. So the next two hours were spent clearing that mess up. We needed some tools to take some pieces of the fridge off to get at those nasty buggers, and Chase offered his tools to us a while ago. So we went over and snagged the tools. While talking with him, he said that talking to his mom, and doing some research made him want to dive more in. So he's been reading the BOM that we gave him, and wants to meet soon. He also is going to take us golfing for free. Score. So good things are happening.
So yeah. Honestly that's about all I got. And unfortunately pday's been crazy so we're gonna end it right here haha. Things are good. We're just cruising along, seeing lots of good success, seeing the Lord absolutely bless us. Read your scriptures, say your prayers, and be in absolute awe of Jesus Christ this week y'all. Because, no matter who we think we are, no matter how imperfect we think we are, He's in awe of us. So in awe, that He gave everything specifically for me, and specifically for you. He's personal. A personal Savior. Isn't that so great.
Anyways, have a good week! Remember that Jesus loves you and so do I!!

Scripture of the Week: Helaman 15:8-9
8 Therefore, as many as have come to this, ye know of yourselves are firm and steadfast in the faith, and in the thing wherewith they have been made free.9 And ye know also that they have buried their weapons of war, and they fear to take them up lest by any means they should sin; yea, ye can see that they fear to sin—for behold they will suffer themselves that they be trodden down and slain by their enemies, and will not lift their swords against them, and this because of their faith in Christ.
