Holyyy coww how are y'all doing?? What a week it has been down here in Gainesville FL. Absolutely crazy. So many things to tell y'all about, so little time to share. So let's get down to what went on.
First off, let me describe the weather to y'all. Close your eyes, clear your mind, and let's imagine what it's been like. So here we are, Elder Bloom and I, going about doing the Lord's work, and enjoying the beautiful Florida weather. The sun is shining, birds are chirping, 70° weather and life is good. Suddenly, a cold front enters the pictures. The sky darkens. The birds stop chirping. The alligator in our pond slips into the water and enters hibernation mode. It's a freezing 45 degrees. Pipes are freezing, children are crying, disaster strikes.
So that's what it's been like the last little while. Absolutely freezing. Nothing like a mixture of low temperatures, and high humidity. For example, this morning we went out to our car, and the windows were frosted over! I haven't had to sit in my car waiting for the windows to unfrost for like 2 years y'all. Wild.
Anyways, this week was a great one. We had to get in our tradeoffs with the DL's before shepherding reports, so we did that this week. On tuesday, I went out to chiefland, back to the boonies, to do a tradeoff with Elder Austin and Elder Dixon. It went good, not a whole lot of exciting details to report. We met with this old dude by the Suwanee river, and grinded through a bunch of work that needed to get done. Then on Friday, we had a tradeoff with Elder Free and Elder Yates, that went good. Had some lessons, talked to this old dude who complemented my smile, Elder Free's hair, and absolutely rebuked us in the same sentence, then talked to a lady who has visions that come true. She had a vision that her landlord got in a bad car accident, then two weeks later it happened. She hasn't had any about us thank goodness. But she told us she's spreading the good news of Jesus around her neighborhood, so we told her we'd tag team it with her so she'll be introducing us to all her neighbors.
We had a few good lessons this week too, with the Ricks, Joseph, and Roger, all testifying about the Book of Mormon. They all went really good, and were powerful. Let me tell you, there are a few things that bring the spirit so strongly into a lesson. Numero uno, heads and shoulders above everything else, is bearing testimony of Jesus Christ. Second, is bearing testimony of something that bears testimony of Jesus Christ, namely the Book of Mormon. We were pretty bold with all our friends about the need to become converted to Christ through the Book of Mormon, and they'll all be reading and praying about it. So please keep them in your prayers!
Not much else too noteworthy happened this week. Will is just trucking along in the gospel, he got to bless the sacrament for the first time which is so sweet to see, I feel like a proud father 🥲. We played some basketball on saturday, and Will and Mckeithan brought some of their friends. We had a good 16 guys there playing some high quality bball. It was good, I definitely miss that celestial sport. We shared a spiritual thought at the end as well, and Mckeithan invited them all to be baptized, we didn't have any takers yet though 😂. But stay tuned, they're a bunch of studs.
But that's about it. We get transfer calls on saturday, so next week I'll be reporting on those results. I'm kind of feeling like I'm gonna leave, but to be honest I kind of want to stay another one here. But wherever the Lord needs me. Anyways, take it easy, remember that Jesus loves you, and so do I!!

39 And after it had come forth unto them I beheld other books, which came forth by the power of the Lamb, from the Gentiles unto them, unto the convincing of the Gentiles and the remnant of the seed of my brethren, and also the Jews who were scattered upon all the face of the earth, that the records of the prophets and of the twelve apostles of the Lamb are true.
