Gainesville Transfer 12 Week 5

WHAT is up. How are y'all. Hopefully having the happiest holiday season of your life. You are? Good. So are we. Gainesville is good, God is good, and I have some good miracles to share with y'all this week. So shall we dive in? Lets.
This week was a pretty solid week by way of teaching. We have had some solid friends in the past, who for the last month or so had just absolutely ghosted us. We were going to drop them a little bit ago, but for some reason it just felt off. So we kept them on the backburner. This week, we felt prompted to make a more concerted effort to reach out. God just always knows the better way y'all. We were able to get in contact with all of the people we were trying to get in contact with, and either have a bomb lesson, or get closure on them telling us that they weren't interested any more. God is good y'all.
We had a solid lesson with the family we found last week as well. We just wanted to come in and grow our relationship a little bit, do a little bit of Love, Share and Invite (basic principles of successful missionary work), and what better to use to grow your relationship than two of the best things on the planet, Jesus and Christmas. We read out of Luke 2, then watched the Christ Child, then just testified of Christ that entire time. And it was probably one of the most powerful bible studies I've ever had. And that's what I've come to love. It's easy to get caught up on talking about so many different things, like Joseph Smith, church, priesthood... But in reality, what are missionaries here for? To testify about Christ. So as I've focused my teaching more and more centrally on Jesus Christ, I've felt so much more power come into teaching. Jesus really is the answer y'all.
We also had Christmas Zone Conference this week which was a blast. We drove down to Jacksonville, and the Jax East, Jax West, Jax South, Kingsland, and Gainesville Zones were all there. So it was a party to say the least. I got to see a whole bunch of my mission buddies, have some awesome trainings about the Atonement of Christ and Urgency, make some blankets, and then a talent show. So it was super fun.
We also got transfer calls. And the news I got was that I'll be staying here, and staying with Elder Bloom. Honestly I was kind of convinced that I was going to leave, but it's a nice surprise to stay. I'm excited for this next transfer.
But that's about all I got. Things are going good, I'm loving this Christmas time, the work is picking up, and there is just so much joy that comes with a mission y'all. What better than being able to testify about Christ 24/7? Nothing, that's what. But have a great week, watch the Christ Child video for me and then invite someone else to watch it. And then invite them to come to church with you Dec. 19th. And remember that Jesus loves you, and so do I!

Scripture of the Week: Isaiah 9:6
6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
