Gainesville Transfer 11 Week 6

What. Is. Up. Y'all. How goes life? Hopefully just absolutely splendid. How is it here in Gainesville you ask? Absolutely amazing as usual! We have just a perfect day today, it's sunny, 68 degrees, just perfect weather to write all of my favorite people. Let's talk about how this week went shall we?
Well, I have to admit I have no idea what happened this week. It was an absolute blur, full of stress, prayer, miracles, and some big news. First off we got transfer calls. Now let me set the scene a little bit. I like to think I can normally feel and predict what's going to happen for transfers, on whether I am going to stay or not. So I had this gut feeling for this entire last week, that I was going to bounce and go to a different area. Now I love this area. Definitely one of the best areas in this mission. So it wasn't like I was itching to leave or anything. Then top that off with one night, I had a super vivid dream that I got transfer calls, and I was assigned to go to a boonie area to open up a new branch, and get a really tough companion. I woke up just crazy depressed, until I realized it was a dream. Then it all was ok. But there still was that nagging thought on if that would actually happen. Fast forward to transfer night, transfer assignments took a whole lot longer than expected, so we didn't get the news until about 10:20 at night via email. We typically get them around 7. So it was just this whole crazy, stressful buildup to getting our new assignments. But enough story time. I was told that I'll be staying in the Gainesville YSA, and getting an Elder Bloom as my companion. I've heard good things of Elder Bloom so it'll be super good. Sad to see Elder Callaway go though, he is a straight legend. I've loved serving with him and he'll be missed. But we're pumped for this next transfer.
By way of other news, teaching this week was a little slow. Lots of trying to find, but not a whole lot of success yet. But it's coming. We walked campus a little more, tried to do some sports finding, a few other things, but nothing quite yet. Will is doing good though. We've been trying to play some bball with him and his buddies, because they're all into basketball. So we set up a basketball night for friday, and told him to invite friends. We were expecting two or three people, but he pulled up with 5 of his buddies. So that was super sweet. Then top that off with this week being Fast Sunday, he stood up to bear his testimony. He then bore a powerful testimony about his conversion, and was crazy bold about how God is in the details and how we are the one true church. He then sat down, and leaned over to tell me, "I only got up so I could testify to all the nonmembers here". Holy. cow. Holy cow. Just give the man a missionary tag already.
So things are going well. The work is steadily moving along, and God keeps working some mighty miracles out here in Gainesville. I'm grateful for the help He gives us, because there's no way little old me could do this alone. The work is all Him, and we're just tools in His hands. But love each and every one of y'all so much, have a blessed week, and everyone (especially you grandma) remember that Jesus loves you so very much, and so do I!!

Scripture of the Week-- D&C 78:19
19 And he who receiveth all things with thankfulness shall be made glorious; and the things of this earth shall be added unto him, even an hundred fold, yea, more.
