Gainesville Transfer 11 Week 1
How are each and every one of y'all doing this beautiful monday afternoon?? So sorry in advance, but we've had a crazy p-day so this might be a little short. But life is good. Real good. Let's dive into this week.
So with our people, basically everything is about the same. Will is still such a stud, just keeps chugging along trying to find his answer on whether or not this church is true. But he keeps telling us the peace he feels whenever he cracks open the book of mormon so he'll get there. Everyone else is doing about the same, just chugging along, reading the Book of Mormon, praying, all that fun stuff. That's the key, if you want to find out if anything is true, read the Book of Mormon and pray. All answers in life are found in that amazing, life-changing, jesus-testifying book.
We also had transfers this week. Elder Callaway and I were both staying together, but we were asked to go up to Lake City and run the transfer spot. So that was fun, got to go up there and spend some time with some missionaries that I haven't seen in a while, including good old Elder Smith from hometown Meridian Idaho. But good stuff.
Finally, as you all know, General Conference was this week. And boy oh boy was it good. Something I really like doing at conference is preparing myself and then asking questions that I really want answered. And so this time I decided to put God to the test. I decided to write down a good 20 questions, and see if they'd all be answered. To be honest I was expecting a few to get answered but that's about it. But lo and behold, every question I asked was answered. We're guided by prophets and apostles y'all. I know it, I can testify it. So if you have questions, ask God, then seek them out through prayer, scripture study and listening to the prophets!!
But honestly that's about it. Things are good. The work is moving along. BYU is playing some great football I've heard, so that's good to hear as well. Of course it happens while I'm out here. But all is well. Just remember that Jesus loves y'all so very much, and so do I. Have a good week!
