Tallahassee Transfer 9 Week 2

Buenasss Diaass everyone. How are y'all on this fine morning? I just hope y'all had the most fantastic week this last week. We sure did. Just like every week out here on the mish, you can't help but just have so much joy when you're doing the good Lord's work!
So this week by way of teaching, wasn't too shabby. Things are moving along with all of our investigators, and we were able to meet with a few of them and have some killer lessons. They're all doing good, still progressing slowly down the covenant path, and finding a whole lot of joy from the gospel. And that is so good to see. We have been talking to Janet about baptism, and she is now set on getting baptized within the next 4 weeks, so that's something to look forward to. We're just so proud of her. We also had a lesson with a new family we just started meeting with, Rhonda and Co. Now we found them through our girl Andria. Rhonda is Andria's caretaker, and she wasn't always the biggest fans of us. But Andria did the dirty work for us, giving Rhonda a Book of Mormon, explained to her what us as missionaries do, and even studied out of the Book of Mormon with her. So Rhonda got super interested, and now wants to meet with us and learn more about what this spirit that we have with us is all about. So we're excited about that.
We also had some not so exciting news this week. So because bible studies are so big in the South, that's one of our biggest finding methods is offering bible studies. We did bible studies with this one lady for a good month, and got a really good relationship with her. We had started teaching her about what we believe, and she got SO interested in learning more! She wanted a Book of Mormon, she wanted to come to church, she wanted her whole family to join with her. So we were pumped at that. But sadly, she turned to more temporal sources for the answers to her questions. And read some content that wasn't as enlightening about our "beliefs". So after reading that, her feelings about us completely changed. And honestly that was a pretty hard pill for me to swallow. Now it's happened pretty frequently to people that I've taught on the mission, but this lady was pretty special. So it was hard. BUT, depressing vibes out of the way, it was a cool little experience, because we got the opportunity to bear super simple, super pure, super powerful testimony. There's a lot of questions in life. There's a lot of things that we can wonder about. And we can look for these answers in one of two places, temporal sources, (google), or pure sources (scriptures, God). Unfortunately, Satan is pretty good at getting us to look for immediate, but often not true, answers to questions that we have. But God asks us to search deeper, and take our questions higher. And I can testify that every question of the soul in life, can be answered by simply reading the Book of Mormon, and praying sincerely to God. Our questions will either be answered through a sweet feeling in our heart, or they will fade away and be replaced by a feeling of peace coming straight from God. So if you have questions, about what we're going around teaching people, or about what you should do for work, or if you should buy that brand of ice cream, take it to God! Because He's the only source of pure and complete truth. What's the worst thing that could happen? You'll find the truth. And that's exactly what we need.
So anyways, time to hop off the good old soapbox. This week didn't have much else that's interesting to talk about. We did some farmer work with Bro Clayton, helping him take care of his bamboo forest. Lots of contacting, lot's of finding and working hard to bring about the Lord's work. Oh and speaking of finding, we've been finding a little friend appearing everywhere inside of our apartment. We're kind of getting infested with mold. So that's been pretty fun, spending days cleaning up the mold, spraying vinegar on everything like it's nobodys business. We're not sure where it's coming from, we keep our apartment clean and dry, but somehow we'll wake up and there's patches of it everywhere. So if anyone has any tips, lemme know so we can win this war against the mold together.
Well honestly that's about it, not anything crazy exciting so for those who only come here for the pics I'll get to it. Just remember that Jesus loves each and every one of you, individually. And so do I. Have a great week!!

Scripture: Doctrine and Covenants 6:22-23
22 Verily, verily, I say unto you, if you desire a further witness, cast your mind upon the night that you cried unto me in your heart, that you might know concerning the truth of these things.23 Did I not speak peace to your mind concerning the matter? What greater witness can you have than from God?
