Tallahassee Transfer 8 Week 4

Goood moorning everyone!! How are y'all? We have some exciting things to talk about so how about I get right to it. Good? Good.
This week by way of teaching was pretty good! Not a lot of new stuff went on but we worked hard and saw a few cool miracles. We've really been trying to clear out our records and find those people who are truly interested so this week was a lot of visiting media referrals. Not a lot of success found, but we did get a lot of the referrals gone through so we can focus more on finding efforts which will be nice. Our girl Janet is doing super well, she decided that she wants to be baptized out here in Quincy so we're just planning that stuff out and trying to figure out the details for that. We're so excites for her. Our other people are all still doing good. And good ole Andria, can't go a letter without mentioning this amazing woman. This week we had somewhat of a miraculous lesson with her, it was pretty amazing. We were on a tradeoff and I was with the great Elder Mortensen, probably the most charitable, kind-hearted man to grace this planet. We had planned to teach hee about the 10 commandments, but for some reason it didn't really feel right for her. But the spirit wasn't talking to me about what she needed, so we went forward with the lesson. We talked about the 2 great commandments, (love god and love your neighbor like yourself), then all of a sudden we felt inspired to talk about the 3rd great commandment, (it's implied in the 2 great commandments), and that's to love yourself. So that's what we had our lesson on. And let me tell you, one of the most spiritually powerful lessons I've ever had. We were all in tears. And at the end, Andria told us that she had never thought about how she needed to love herself. It was a game changer for her. And I honestly was the same way. I think it's so easy to get focused on all the things that we SHOULD be doing in life. Honestly there's a lot. And when we focus on that, we see that we're "not doing enough", and it can get pretty discouraging. But the cool thing about the gospel, is that we get credit for trying, for even striving to be enough. So sometimes we just gotta recognize that! So you, the one reading this letter right now, yes you, you're doing enough. And God's proud of what you're doing, and what you have done, and He's excited for the amazing things you will do. So remember that. And remember that Jesus loves you, and so do I.
Soo anyways, things are going good. We had zone conference this week which was pretty amazing. I just love zone conference, it always gets me so hyped to work even harder and be an even more effective missionary. We talked a lot about how to be powerful missionaries, how to find people to teach more effectively, and how to work with members. So it was amazing. We also got some pretty exciting news, us missionaries are now completely free from any covid rules! So we can now knock doors, street contact, go into anyone's homes, no more masks, the whole shabang. So I've been pretty excited about that. In Quincu, street-contacting would be pretty effective so we're excited to try that out. We probably won't knock any doors because that's just not very effective in general haha but maybe we'll try it out a little bit.
But other than that that's all I got for this week. Things are going good, training is good, the area's good, missionary work is good, and God is just so good y'all. I'm grateful for this work, these experiences, and I'm grateful for y'all. Keep killing it and have the best week of your life this next week! Love y'all!

Spiritual Thought--
"Of all the titles of respect and honor and admiration given to Deity, He has asked us to address Him as Father" - Quorum of the Twelve
"Noble Fatherhood gives us a glimpse of the Divine"- James E Faust
I can't add much to these amazing quotes, but I can add my gratitude for my earthly father, and everything that he has done for me. Through his love, care and sacrifice, I really have seen a glimpse of the Divine. I'm so grateful for my dad and the amazing example he's been. Father's are important y'all! I'm also so grateful for my Heavenly Father and all that He has done for me. Imagine this, a God, an all powerful being, all knowing, lets us address Him as our Father! And everything He does for us, is out of pure love, because we're His children!! Pretty amazing to think about.
