Tallahassee Transfer 8 Week 1

Buenas diasss!! How are y'all? Good? Great! I am doing great as well, this week was a good one. Exciting, spiritual, a little sad, it had it all. So without further ado...
By way of teaching this week, we had some steps towards success. All of our people are doing really good. Basically all of them are just where they were last week. Shirley's good, just working towards baptism still, and same eith Janet. Andria's still fighting, what a trooper, and just pushing for baptism as well. She's actually taken such a love for the Book of Mormon lately which is so cool to see. She's only had it for a good two months, and she's already past 2 Nephi. So she's cooking through it. And she absolutely loves it. We were visiting her one day this week, and she told us that she wanted to go on a walk. So Elder Jackson and I helped her get in her wheelchair, and wheeled her around the neighborhood just chatting. So precious. When we were leaving, I felt like I should grab a Book of Mormon. So I did, and a few minutes into the walk Andria asked why I grabbed the book. I told her that I grabbed it in case we wanted to give it to someone. She immediately got this light in her eyes, some fire in her wheels, and told us, "I know just the person". So there she went, down the street, through some grass, down a little side street, us trying to keep up with her, as she went to go deliver the goods to one of her neighbors. She wheeled right up to her friend, gave her the Book of Mormon, and proceeded to explain what it was, what it's about, and what the book means to Andria. It was so pure. And it got me so pumped to be the exact same way! This is a lady who doesn't have much, by way of worldly things, but she was so excited to share a little piece of heaven that she loves reading every day. Why don't we have that same enthusiasm??
We also had transfers this week, so thursday night Elder Jackson and I drove down to Jacksonville to stay the night with one of my past comps, Elder McDaniel. It was so sweet actually, missionaries like Elder McDaniel are few and far between so it was cool to see him again. We actually were driving down, and about halfway there we realized that we might need gas. But we looked at the miles until we got to jacksonville, and it was like 95, and then miles until empty, and it was around 95. So we decided to risk it. We got all the to jacksonville, and were just pulling up to a gas station. But literally right when we got in the turn lane to turn into the gas station, our car ran out of gas. So we were stuck in the middle of the medium on a busy road, with no gas. Luckily some missionaries were close by to help out, so disaster averted.
But transfer day came, and I said bye to Elder Jackson. He's been an awesome companion so it was a little sad, but I picked up my new companion, my son, Elder Foster. He's from Aberdeen Idaho, a potato farmer, and he's a good dude. He's definitely a greenie, got that greenie fire, does greenie things sometimes, and I love it. It's hilarious and takes me back to the good old days when I did the exact same embarassing things haha. So I'm a proud dad.
But other than that things are pretty normal. Pray for us down here in florida, it's starting to get real hot and it's only may. But the work is moving along, time is moving along and I'm doing good. Love y'all so much, have the best week of your life this next week!

2 Nephi 29:6-7
6 Thou fool, that shall say: A Bible, we have got a Bible, and we need no more Bible. Have ye obtained a Bible save it were by the Jews?7 Know ye not that there are more nations than one? Know ye not that I, the Lord your God, have created all men, and that I remember those who are upon the isles of the sea; and that I rule in the heavens above and in the earth beneath; and I bring forth my word unto the children of men, yea, even upon all the nations of the earth?
I just love how simple this scripture lays it out, on how amazing it is that we have the Book of Mormon. God loves all His children, across the whole world. And because God loves everyone, He speaks to them all, to lead them and guide them. The Book of Mormon is a perfect example of that. It doesn't make much sense to me, that God would just stop speaking to His children randomly, a few decades after the death of Christ. It makes sense to know that because He loves us, He still speaks to us! And it's so evident in the Book of Mormon!
