Tallahassee Transfer 7 Week 2
Helloooo everyone!! How are you all?? How has your week been? This week was such a gem, we had some beautiful weather, some good work got done, and some miracles were wrought by God. Without further a-do, let's get down to it.
By way of teaching this week, things are still just moving along. Quincy is a big freight train with more and more cars being added to it, and it's being pulled by God. We've been working with a lot of our main friends this week, and they've been seeing some miracles!! Whether it's a special spirit from meeting with us, our friends doing missionary work for us by telling their friends about peace they get from the Book of Mormon and now their friends are interested in learning more, help with depression and stress when our friends read the Book of Mormon, God is just being soo good to us right now!! So exciting things are just chugging along. I can testify this is God's work, I'm nowhere near good enough, or spiritual enough, or powerful enough to do this work and move the work along like this. I can also testify that this really is God's work, God is specifically and individually guiding us to find, serve, and love people, and He does all the hard work and miracles. So things are great.
But basically every day we're over at Andrea's, teaching her, making her meals, learning from her, receiving her charity and care for us, receiving her service... she's honestly the best. We've taught her almost everything we need to, and boy oh boy has she been prepared by God. She has one of the strongest, purest, simple testimonies I have ever felt. Without fail, every time we go over there, she will have read something cool in the scriptures, and go off on a rant for a good 3 minutes telling us how amazing Joseph Smith, Jesus, the Book of Mormon, the gospel, baptism... are. You can't help but leak a few tears. She's still struggling with a few of her own diamond, so PLEASE keep her in prayers!! She really needs some miracles in her life, so let's make it happen. But she's still doing good, just chugging along as welland preparing for baptism. She's taught me so much, sometimes I wonder who's the teacher and who's the learner with her. But she's doing great. She was able to come to church this week and she was in Heaven!! She didn't want to leave when it was over, and she told every single person who was there that she would be there next week, and every week after that.
Other than that this week was pretty normal. A lot of driving around contacting, visiting Andrea, finding some new people, and doing the good work out here in Quincy. Not much else was super noteworthy, just working hard and loving it out here in warm, well-weathered, perfect old Florida. The work is moving along, God is so good to all of us, Jesus loves each one of us, and I hope y'all have an amazing week!! Love y'all!!

Spiritual Thought: From the one and only Andrea---
"Sometimes people just need to be told that they're good"
While we were talking to Andrea this week, she told us this and it's stuck out in my mind ever since. This is coming from a lady who has had such a hard life. She's struggled with demons, a bad childhood, health... name a challenge and she's had it. But she still goes out of her way every day, to sit on her wheelchair on her porch, and smile and wave at everyone who drives or walks past her porch. She just loves them. Just like Jesus. And honestly I think we all can do a lot better at that. When we go through struggles, without fail they cause us to want to turn inwards and focus on ourselves. But I think Heavenly Father has specifically designed life so that we won't find true happiness from turning inwards. We only find that true happiness as we turn outwards, in love and care for others. That's what Andrea does to find happiness, that's what Jesus did and does, and that's what we NEED to do. So if you're struggling with your own trial, go find someone, and tell them that they're good. And tell them that I said that they're good. And y'all are just so good. And everything will be good!
