Tallahassee Transfer 5 Week 2

Hola a todos!
How are y'all? How has everything been going? I hope y'all are having an absolutely fantastic week so far. We definitely did, this week was chock-full of some crazy,  spiritual, and plain weird experiences haha. So without further-ado...
This week by way of teaching was still a little slow. We've been struggling to get in contact with a lot of people so a lot of this week was visiting people. We did however find a new friend named William who's an absolute stud. He's your typical backwoods southerner who loves jesus, talking, and sitting on his porch wearing nothing but overalls. We've had some pretty interesting conversations with him but he's such a fun dude. Gotta love william. We also have another lady named Shirley who's hilarious. All we've done with her is just try to set up lessons but our schedules never meet up. But every time we talk she feels bad that she can't meet with us, and gives us some random object, from a Styrofoam leftovers box to a grapefruit. She's awesome.
This week was also a whole lot of service, and probably the coolest service project to ever be done. Ever. We started out the week by building a concrete ramp for our boy Chris, who needed a new one because his old ramp was pretty unsafe. We also helped some family mow their yard, and they rewarded us with some hot dogs covered in ez-cheese. But the mother of all service projects was this friday, where we helped one of our member burn a forest. He owns 150 acres of pine trees, and he wanted to burn the bottom foliage off and clear the area a little bit. So the member and some forest rangers sprayed gasoline around inside the forest, and we ran around the edge of his property and made sure no fire got outside of the designated area. So you had two missionaries running through fire, raking at it to put it out. Pretty sweet.
Other than that this week was pretty normal. Lots of working hard, lot's of funny crazy experiences. Being a missionary is the best, words can't reslly describe just how many blessings I've seen from being out here. From the growth in my testimony, in who I am as a person, and the countless miracles I've been able to see EVERY DAY, I can say that being a missionary is something special. Nothing like preaching the truthfulness of Joseph Smith being a prophet, Jesus being the Christ, and having God work miracles in our individual work. Thingd are still going great. Love y'all, have a good week and remember that Jesus loves you.

Spiritual Thought: Doctrine and Covenants 24:11-12
In me he shall have glory, and not of himself, whether in weakness or in strength, whether in bonds or free; And at all times, and in all places, he shall open his mouth and declare my gospel as with the voice of a trump, both day and night. And I will give unto him strength such as is not known among men.
Shoutout to my mom, who sent me this scripture this week. It came at a time when I was feeling a little down about the work, and then suddenly I get this cool promise in my email box. Think about how cool this promise is. If we simply just strive to represent Christ and tell others about how amazing He is, we can receive "Strength such as is not known among men." Gotta love this promise!!
