Tallahassee Transfer 4 Week 4

Hola a todos!
How is everyone? I hope y'all have been enjoying some amazing weather wherever y'all are. It's been pretty nice down here in Florida, it's been anywhere from 75 and sunny to 50 and pouring rain. But it's been nice down here. We've also stayed really busy which is always nice as well. Nothing like driving around in rural florida contacting investigators.
This week was basically that, contacting our investigators. The main areas we work out of are some smaller towns named Quincy and Havana. There are a good amount of people who have been taught in the past so we've been trying to visit a lot of them. This week we also decided to go tracting, bringing it back to the good ole days. Don't worry though haha we kept covid rules, we just walked to our different appointments and tried to make conversation with people as we walked. Turns out walking around doing missionary work is pretty fun. We talked to this spanish guy who tried to cast the devils out of us "monrom boys", and walked down this street infested with vultures which was pretty funny. But we also had some cool contacts, including with this guy named Steven. He's been struggling with a lot of stuff and so us talking to him was a little miracle for him. We were prompted to share the story of Alma the Younger in Alma 36 with him, and it related exactly to his situation which was pretty cool. These experiences are always my favorite, they happen way too often to just be coincidences. Really shows that God knows each one of us individually, and He knows how to help us in our unique struggles. This is something that I really have gained a testimony of. So if you're struggling with anything, and I literally mean anything, then who's the best person to turn to? God! That's kind of why we have him in the first place, and that's all He wants to do. Is help us. And show us His love, and show us the way.
Being a missionary is such an amazing experience. It's taught me so much so far, but probably the biggest thing that I've had to learn is how to forget about myself and simply just love others. It's definitely a work in progress but has been so worth it. A scripture that I love is Mosiah 2:17, which says:
17 And behold, I tell you these things that ye may learn wisdom; that ye may learn that when ye are in the service of your fellow beings ye are only in the service of your God.

This scripture has taken on a lot cooler meaning to me as I have tried to implement it in my life. If we think about God, all He wants for us is for us to be happy. He wants us to have good lives and be successful. And so us, his kids, when we love each other, serve each other, and help one another feel joy, then that really is serving God! Because it is helping Him bring joy to His kids. So I invite y'all, try to do something this week to bring joy to another person. And I can promise that not only will it help them, not only will it help God, but it will also bring you so much joy!
That's about all I have this week, love y'all and I hope everything is going well. Feel free to send me an email, I'd love to hear from y'all! Have a great week and remember Jesus Loves You!
