Tallahassee Transfer 4 Week 1- "If God had commanded me... I could do them"

Hey everyone!
How are y'all doing? I hope everyone has had a really good week so far. Ours was good this past week, a little crazy but all good things. We stayed pretty busy teaching people, and were able to get in a decent amount of homes which was nice.
First off, for the transfer news. So last week we were all told what areas we were going to be transferred to. I was told Tallahassee, and then actual transfer day was this last friday. So Thursday night, I got completely packed and ready to go, put all my stuff in my suitcases, all that fun stuff. Then that night after I finished, we got a call from the AP's, telling us that my new companion in Talahassee had just tested positive for Covid. So because of that, they delayed the day that I head up to Tally. So now I have been in Downtown Jacksonville for the past couple of days, in a trio with Elder Arp and his new companion Elder Christensen. It's been pretty fun so far though, both of them are super funny guys. But they should be sending me up to Tally this Friday once Elder Colton is cleared from Covid.
But the work this week was good. We were able to have a lesson with Tabitha, and she's just so amazing. It's crazy what the Lord can do with a person when they're humble and just have a desire to grow and become better. She's progressing super well and the only thing stopping her from being baptized is her fiance's schedule. She wants him to baptize her, but the problem is he lives in kentucky, has a crazy schedule, and can only come down to Jacksonville every so often. But it's going to happen sooner or later haha. Our other progressing person is Jose, and I love this guy so much haha. He's hilarious. Whenever we're teaching him he'll get super distracted and just go on some crazy rants about different conspiracy theories, but because his English is a little broken it doesn't really make much sense haha. He's such an awesome guy though, just cares for everyone and wants to become better. He makes sure to end every sentence with "God bless" to make sure he is showing his devotion to God too which is pretty awesome.
Other than that we were able to say bye to a lot of families this week. There were some harder goodbyes for sure, I've really come to love this people. The Dunn Ave ward is a wild ward for sure, but definitely really special. It was a little weird though going to church this Sunday and seeing all those people that I just said bye to haha, but it was nice to have another goodbye I guess haha.
But that's about all that I have this week. Things have been going really good down here. It's crazy how much I'm learning, how much I've seen myself change, and how fast the time is going by. But this is the Lord's work, and I'm grateful to be a part of it. Love y'all and have a good week!!
Elder Richardson
Scripture: 1 Nephi 17:50-51
50 And I said unto them: If God had commanded me to do all things I could do them. If he should command me that I should say unto this water, be thou earth, it should be earth; and if I should say it, it would be done.51 And now, if the Lord has such great power, and has wrought so many miracles among the children of men, how is it that he cannot instruct me, that I should build a ship?
I don't think we often recognize the power that our faith can have in our lives. There are mountains that we have to climb, oceans that we have to go through, and sometimes life gets really hard. But think about who can be on our side- the person who created all of these things. So why should we worry? All we need to do is have faith in Him!
