Dunn Ave Transfer 2 Week 4

Hola familia y amigos!
How was everyones week? This week was actually really good! We were packed almost every day which was a total 180 flip from last week haha. It's so cool to see just how much the Lord provides as long as you put your faith in Him.
We were able to teach a good amount of people this week. We were able to get in contact with a lot of people who had ghosted us, and they wanted lessons! The big miracle this week was meeting with our girl Cheryl. She had ghosted us probably around a month ago, but we had kept up pretty steady contact with her. One night we were going to call her, and we told ourselves that if she didn't answer, we would drop her. We called her up, and she was so excited to meet with us! She told us that she had been missing something in her life, and once we started visiting with her its like she found it again so that was really cool to hear. Something that I've really seen thus far into the mission is just how much the spirit can guide us if we let it. There have been so many times that we feel like we need to visit someone, stop by, and then they tell us that they needed us at that exact time. These experiences happen way too often to be coincidences, and that's how I know that the Lord really does provide for us.
We were also able to do a lot of service this week which was really cool. There is a business called farm share, a free food distribution agency, and we go over there pretty often to bag food so it can be distributed to people. Somehow our day always goes so much better whenever we forget about ourselves and focus on others. I'm always so much happier as I serve others rather than myself. That's really where true joy comes. This week we also had zone conference which was pretty amazing. Its always so cool to hear from the leaders in our mission, and crazy how inspired they are. Receiving guidance and help is always pretty cool. And our zone is pretty sick so thats cool too haha.
Spiritual thought: Doctrine and Covenants 78:19
19 And he who receiveth all things with thankfulness shall be made glorious; and the things of this earth shall be added unto him, even an hundred fold, yea, more
I loved the invitation that President Nelson gave us this week. Sometimes with the world being the way it is, its hard to recognize just how much the Lord has blessed us. But even during times like these, He continues to bless us! All we have to do is open our eyes and look. And thats when true and lasting joy can enter. This week I challenge you guys to look for those blessings in your life. Because they really are there. And I know it will help you be even happier.
Well thats all I got this week, have an awesome week. Happy Thanksgiving!
