Dunn Ave Transfer 1 Week 6- Quarantine Pt. 2
Hola Familia y Amigos!
How was everyone's week? Hope everything is going well, hope everyone is staying healthy! Things are going good here in Florida.
We've been in quarantine the past week or so, and it's been something else for sure! We're stuck in our apartment the whole day and can't leave to visit anyone or anything, so we've been calling a lot of people. It's been good, and we definitely talk to a lot of interesting people for sure haha. Gives us a lot of crazy stories so thats cool. So our days are mostly made up of just doing a lot of studying and calling people. It definitely has opened my eyes though to the power that God has over this work, and that He really is so aware and has a hand in our specific missionary work. God is good!
We also got tested for covid, and good news, we tested negative. So hopefully this next week we'll be able to leave the quarantine. We also have transfers coming up this week, and because of quarantine they pushed it back a couple days. So we'll get transfer calls on Wednesday and we'll see what happens. Most likely though I'll be staying in Dunn Avenue, so thats exciting! Dunn Ave has been an awesome experience so far, the people are something else and I love them!
Scripture: 2 Nephi 2:6
6 Wherefore, redemption cometh in and through the Holy Messiah; for He is full of grace and truth.
I read this scripture this week during one of my studies, and it really has hit me so much more just how powerful and how loving Christ is. Through my challenges and the challenges of the people we teach, it is just so cool to see who Christ can transform someone into. There is NO LIMIT to His love and power to help us through our unique challenges! So if you're going through ANYTHING, just turn to Christ!
