How is everything going? Things are good in the MTC. We're still learning spanish and practicing teaching a lot more which has been pretty cool. It's cool to see how much we're growing and how much I can see God's hand in my life. Things are still pretty normal, just a normal 10 hours on the computer learning the Lord's gospel. Kind of crazy that I'm also getting close to being done! From today I have two weeks left in the MTC then off to Florida. I got my travel plans this week, and I leave in the morning on the 15th, fly to Dallas, then fly to Jacksonville a few hours later. I'm super excited! Actually getting the flight plans definitely makes it seem a lot more real. But I can't wait!
MTC was good this week. We got new teachers last Wednesday, Hermano Doloriert and Hermana Huarcaya. They're both really cool. They speak a lot more spanish with us which is nice but also sometimes is pretty confusing 😂 I'm glad for the opportunity to speak more spanish though, I know it'll help when I get out in the field. Me and my companion, Elder Ferre just keep on moving along, our lessons are getting a lot easier to plan and teach for sure which is really cool. I'm glad that he's my companion, we definitely work well together.
I also moved over to Elder Packer's house, me and him have been doing the online MTC together. We did the first three weeks at my house and now we're doing the last three weeks at his. It's been really good, nice to have someone to practice spanish with and go on runs with in the morning for sure haha.
Spiritual thought: Ether 12:16- "Yea, and even all they who wrought miracles wrought them by faith, even those who were before Christ and also those who were after."I read this scripture in one of our MTC studies and it really hit me this time just the power that faith can have in our lives. If you think about all the miracles that have ever been wrought, have ever been done, it's all through faith in God. If we just believe that God can do the impossible, and allow Him to show His power and hand through us, we can work miracles too.
