Hola mi familia y amigos!
How is everyone? Things have been really good in the MTC, it's crazy that I'm done with one week! The MTC has actually been really good. Going into it, I was pretty disappointed that I wasn't going to be able to go to the Provo MTC. But this online MTC has really surprised me! It's actually been really cool. It's pretty exhausting because we're in lessons most of the day, but I've already learned so much. I took a few years of spanish in high school, but I feel like I've already learned more this week than I remember learning in school haha. It's been kind of crazy, usually I'm so bad at remembering stuff but things have been sticking way more than usual. I know it's not me but it's Christ's grace helping me out.
My district is also really cool. There are ten elders and they're all really cool, humble guys who want to work hard which is really nice. My companion is also really cool, his name is Elder Ferre and he is from West Jordan. He's a runner too and he's a super nice guy. We work really good together and I'm glad that I got assigned to him. I also have had sort of a companion doing the MTC with me. Elder Packer has been doing the MTC with me and it's been really awesome.
The Online MTC has also been really good. Our days are really busy. We have classes for about 7 hours a day where we're on a zoom meeting with our district. The rest of the time is pretty much spent studying. It's been really good though, I'm glad I've been able to do it.
Scripture: Moroni 7:37- Behold I say unto you, Nay; for it is by faith that miracles are wrought; and it is by faith that angels appear and minister unto men; wherefore, if these things have ceased wo be unto the children of men, for it is because of unbelief, and all is vain. This scripture has really meant a lot to me during this week. It's been kind of overwhelming at times because of all the spanish we're going to have to learn in such a short amount of time. Reading this scripture has brought me a lot of peace because it helps me realize what Christ can do for me. He is so amazing! All we have to do is have faith and do what we can, and He'll take care of the rest!
