So I've been really busy making an invitation for the ward Christmas party here, so I am sorry if this one is kinda short.
I realize I always say that and find a way to write a bunch.
I will start by just explaining all the pictures. So two are of a BUDO FIGHT. Literally right as Elder Gordon and I were wondering what we were going to eat for dinner last Monday, one of the members of the ward here called us and told us to come to their
house for dinner. Easy enough right? We get there and it is BUDO FIGHT TIME. Now a BUDO FIGHT is when you have an entire table laid out of food, and there are no utensils, no plates, and no rules. You can imagine how that went. It is gonna be hard to add that
rice to the counter, as there were no plates, but I will try.
The other picture is of our baptisms this week. We had the opportunity to see 5 people join the church this past Saturday. These are the first ones that I have seen the beginning of teaching and the baptism of, so it was really cool. You may also notice
in the picture that I am not in white, that is because we had originally planned for other people to baptize all of the candidates, so I loaned my whites to Brother Ronnie. Brother Ronnie had a stroke around 4 years ago, and doesn't have much control of the
right side of his body, but with help, he was still able to baptize his daughter. Baptisms are pretty awesome to watch in general, but that one was just something else as he had practiced the baptismal prayer in English for 2 weeks in order to do it (it is
really hard for him to talk after his stroke).
The video is an idea that my district leader had. I don't really need to explain that one, as it explains itself.
That's all the time I have this week, hopefully next week I will be able to write more.
I leave my counter:
103 (Rice was consumed in heavy amounts this week)
