Lil' update from the Mission Office

Whats up, how are yall doing? Its been a good long while since I have written an email (I think 2 months).... Nevertheless, looking to upload some pics to fill y'all in for the past couple of weeks.     We have been grinding with the Zone Conferences and getting everything done and tied up for all of those. We did them differently this time and had 4 and did a bunch of classes as the instruction to help us stay awake. The best part was getting to play games and sports with everyone after everything. I really think it was a fun bonding experience to be with all of them and get to enjoy a little bit of time together.

We got to spend the week with Elder Baker y Elder Streiff because they came with us to give a tech speech at all of the conferences. Definitely some of my funnest nights of the mission.

I had a huge miracle 2 weeks ago! I was in Arboledas in my old area one day to help out some of the missionaries with their phones and check in on them. As we were walking in the street Manuel y Janet Ruiz stopped in their car and started screaming! It was an amazing reunion to see the parents of a family that I taught and how they are doing better than before and taking steps towards baptism. It was incredible and definitely a tender mercy from the Lord!
Other than that we have been on the grind. They opened things back up for us and now we can have in person lessons. It has been so awesome to finally meet and teach some of the members in the ward! Man have I missed being able to connect with people in person and the sweet spirit that is always there.

Had a really cool quote from the week that helped me out a ton! "Understand that in the absence of experiences with God, one can doubt the existence of God. So, put yourself in a position to begin having experiences with Him. Humble yourself. Pray to have eyes to see God's hand in your life and in the world around you. Ask Him to tell you if He is really there-if He knows you. Ask Him how He feels about you. And then listen." - President Nelson    This quote really put things into perspective for me. Most of these experiences that we have with God come from the hardest times of our lives. We are closest to God when we are at our breaking point. I love that we can ask God, when we humble ourselves, and He will show us that He knows who we are and will show us how He has been helping and guiding us in our lives. We just have to look for that help and we will always be able to find it. As we "listen" God will reveal what we need in the precise moment that we need it. Do not forget that He loves you and cares about you so much!

Sure love yall and am so grateful for you. It is so crazy that the mission is winding down and very soon I will not have the opportunity to dedicate all of my time to the Lord. This has been the best, and hardest, decision that I have ever made in my life. I truly have learned so much about who I am and who we truly can become as children of God!    If theres anything that I can do to help yall out, please don't hesitate in reaching out!! Id love to hear from you!
