Whaddup! This week was crazy full of good stuff! As far as the late transfer, Elder Hernandez and I are staying the last 4 weeks here together and will both be working as the Mission Tech Specialists. I am real excited to get things going with that and still keep working with the Angelopolis Zone. Things are really good!
As far as the work, we set up some super big stake wide meeting to get the ball rolling on member missionary work, reactiviation, and retention. President Linares is a beast and is helping out a ton. The zone is getting our keys back for technology access; well, all but our ward:/ . We are working out the kinks with the Bishop here but things are turning around.
The Familia Islas is getting married this Friday and Baptized on Sat. I am stoked! Fabiola is grinding towards this Sunday as well and she is absolutely amazing!
We had a ward missionary correlation meeting and it popped off. All of the leaders were screaming at each other and it ended at 10:20pm. Its amazing to see the passion we got in this ward and how some people never give up on ideas. I learned a lot about perseverance! :)
I gave a talk this week on Abraham 3:25 about us getting proven here to see if we will keep our First Estate. I learned a lot and I really loved 2 Cor 4:8-9 "We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair. Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed." Its a really powerful set of scriptures. All of these things help us gain experience in this life and allow us to refine our lives into what the Lord needs us to become. We will never be overcome when we are on the Lord´s side!
