Facebook works? Who broke the pipe??

I had such an amazing week! One of the best since getting back out here! I hope y'all had a great week too!
So, for starters, who broke the stinking pipe.... again? We got a call from Brother Barnes that he needed some help digging a 2 foot trench to his house so he could re-run a new main water line. In the process, Elder Mismash smoked the pipe and shot water everywhere! We turned the water off and it was a mud fest. We patched it then I smoked the pipe! After fixing the pipe again, the ditch was full of water. We dug out as much as we could. The next day after moving some dirt, we dug some more. Elder Wright then blew up the pipe in our faces and the water shot prolly 20 ft up. It was a good laugh. We ran the new main water line under the foundation of the house. We then got his huge jackhammer and  busted concrete for him and moved it. It was pretty fun work. We decided to call it a day after 8 1/2 hours of service.

Brother Todd gave us a ride in his Daytona Charger. We fishtailed for a good while a couple of times. He gave us a real show while we went to pick up his truck. I snapped this pic that can describe him without a caption while he peeled out in reverse to go back and see a tarantula! Stud of a guy

Who would've thought: Facebook finding actually works! It's about time! Hahaha. I posted in a group here in Roswell about doing some service. 35 people liked my post and I got to talking to a guy named Antonio. We talked about country music and how it can speak to us. "God speaks to us too"!  We set up a lesson and he loved the Restoration! We took him a Book of Mormon the next day and taught the Plan of Salvation. He accepted a baptismal date for the 17th of October! So amazing to see! The Lord is in the little details.

I have been working a lot this week on becoming a more converted disciple. Chauncey C Riddle said that, “‘The word disciple comes from the Latin [meaning] a learner. A disciple of Christ is one who is learning to be like Christ—learning to think, to feel, and to act as he does. To be a true disciple, to fulfill that learning task, is the most demanding regimen known to man. No other discipline compares … in either requirements or rewards. It involves the total transformation of a person from the state of the natural man to that of [a] saint, one who loves the Lord and serves with all of his heart, might, mind, and strength’".    Discipleship is not just changing our behavior, it is becoming more committed and like our Savior. He will bless us and help us so long as we put in the effort.

I love yall and hope things are going well!
