It was another week of meetings and a lot of traveling but so many great things happened this week. I went on interchanges with the zone leader, Elder Tellez, and we had a great time. We taught a lot of lessons and found some cool people to teach. We took a snack break in the park and treated ourselves to a chicken neck and head. They are way better than you would think!
Something fun for the week is our investigator Erika called to cancel our visit because her kids had to sing in the school nativity. Then she asked out of the blue if we wanted to go with her and watch. So... we went haha and it was awesome. They had goats and chickens everywhere. Now Erika trusts us more.
In our zone conference today, I was updated on Silvia, who we baptized in Cholula last transfer. She is super active and her whole family that are not members are all going to church with her and are receiving the lessons from the missionaries now. Miracles happen and it is so so cool to hear how the gospel has changed her life!
Another cool thing that happened this week is I had the opportunity to play the piano for the whole nativity program for our branch. So cool to see how even though there are so few members there, they are so strong and are all trying to be better.
Sorry for the shotgun of events today, I don't have a ton of time haha.
Finally, we had our interviews with President today and they were incredible. We started the morning playing basketball and volleyball with him and then he went and bought us all pizza and drinks. Sooooo sweet! In the interview he calmed all my doubts and helped me so much. I also have been called to be a trainer this next transfer and I am so humbled with the opportunity. It's going to be tough, but I will learn so much and I am going to have a kid!! We will see what happens in the future.
I love you all and hope the holiday season is amazing!!!
