This week was awesome! So many things all came together at the right time. On Tuesday, we went to teach a lesson to Silvia. She has a daughter on a mission right now and she was ready to hear the gospel. We taught her the Restoration and the spirit was super strong. At the end, we challenged her to be baptized 6 days after her daughter gets home. She accepted and now we are working to try and help her accomplish that on the 26th.
Also, the Elders we share a house with were working in our area on accident and ended up finding a fam of 5 that is gold! They are so sweet and we have a ton of opportunities to serve them. They have a date to be married on the 16th of Oct, and all 5 to be baptized on the 26th too! A miracle... We keep teaching Lulu and Fabian and they are a little tough. They have been taught many times, but we think that Lulu might actually accept this time. They are awesome and want to keep being taught by us.
Then on Friday, we were on splits cuz i had to go snag my green card in Puebla. Elder Sanchez and Obray went and taught Francisco at the bakery again and they put another baptismal date down. It has taken a lot of chatting, visiting, and of course the spirit to help him get to this point. We are inviting him to play soccer with us next monday! On Sat, we watched The Prophet of the Restoration with our investigator Guadalupe and it was so awesome. He opened up after like he never has before! He is a solid guy with a big heart. After the lesson, we made and ate homemade churros (they were even better than Disneylands! haha)
Conference was stinkin' awesome. I got to watch half of it in Spanish and it was so cool. "Just what I needed!"
Today as a district we went to the pyramids and it was dope. We were squeezing through rat holes and it was awesome!
I am so happy out here and so lucky to have the opportunity to serve. Time is already flying! I almost copped this sweet cowboy hat as a side note...Love you all and hope life is all well!
