What a sweet week! We knocked a lot of doors, met with lots of members, and tried to reactivate a ton of people. There is so much to learn and time is flying by so fast.
On Tuesday it rained so so much and the dye in my shoes stained my feet, ruined my socks, my jacket and ruined my shirt. Insane haha. But, our lessons with our investigator Rosio went really well this week. The spirit was so strong throughout the lessons and I can understand a decent amount of Spanish. The only obstacle was the spouse of Rosio. She said she would talk about her baptism date with him and he said no... So we went back for our visit yesterday and they weren't there... so its not looking too good.
We taught another guy, Josue, in his panadería and it was awesome. We are hopeful with him. On Saturday I had the feeling to visit this less active family and it was the best thing ever happened. First of all, the whole family was there so that was cool. Then, we got to know them and shared scriptures and testimony about the importance of doing the little things and that Jesús Christ knows them personally, cares for them, and listens to their prayers. The spirit was burning... it was amazing! They all started to cry and open up about their lives and how they know they need to be going to church. They then asked if we could give them all blessings.... In spanish... Haha but it went so well and it was the coolest thing ever to bless someone in spanish! They were all at church on Sunday and loved it, they said. Such a cool experience to be a part of and see people grow and change.
So excited to see what happens this week and hopefully find more People to teach.
Hope you are all doing great!
