Work hard Nap hard - Si! - group email

Hey yall!

So sorry I didn't get a chance to send out a weekly email! It was crazy busy and I didn't have my tablet. So I apologize! But these past weeks have been awesome! Before I jump into it, thought I'd let everyone know that we had transfer call on Friday, and I'm staying in Jax Beach! In addition I've been called to serve as the District Leader. I'm a little nervous but strengthened by the fact that I have Christ with me. If any one has any advice for me feel free to send it my way! The District I'm in is amazing! I have a former district leader and a former Zone leader so I feel like this will be a great opportunity for me to learn from some powerful missionaries in how I can best serve them! They are amazing. I have two new missionaries that will be in my district so that will be aweosme!

So starting with two weeks ago, the major events were that we set a baptismal date with one of our investigators! She is aweosme! Her date is May 12th so please pray for her! She's really loved the changes she's made in her life. She has made lots of good friends and gotten a deeper relationship with her Savior. We have faith! Also got to go back to Normandy! Man was that a rush of emotions. I got to see alot of good friends and laugh at some old memories. I went because a man Elder Shurtliff, Sister Haynie, Sister Ridenour, and I taught was getting baptized! So that was awesome. I got to see Elder Shurtliff and Sister Haynie! Sorry Sister Ridenour 😂😭 but I got to see so many good faces I loved it.

Monday we went Frisbee golfing again. In case you were wondering yes I am hooked on disc golfing right now 😂 I got so fascinated at the idea of strategically throwing different disc's and the different ways of throwing that I caught the "bug". Hahah we then had a double zone pday with mandarin zone. That was fun. Got to play alot of sports and see some great friends. We had trade offs so I got to go to the fort Caroline area. Super fun area especially getting to be with Elder Redford. Aweosme fun to see all the old stuff Elder Shurtliff told me about when he served here haha.

Saturday brother Chalker, the oldest living fire chief in Jacksonville, took us out to eat. Man do I love seafood so much since coming to Florida. I got some frog legs and they were yummy! I imagined myself with a big beard eating with the cast of duck dynasty haha. Ha, Jack! Never thought I'd enjoy frog legs but boy oh boy. Gonna cook some for the family some day 😉 Elder Roy got some sword fish so I tried some of that too and that was really yummy! Gotta love seafood!!
We were on Tornado watch so thats what the picture of the storm is. The storm was moving towards the ocean and so we got a cool picture of it on its way! Sky was a cool looking green. Apparently there's tornadoes in Florida haha 🤷‍♂️

Anyway I hope everyone is having a good week! Love you all thanks so much for all your support! I love you all!
