Y'all,
Hey everyone! Man this was a fun fun week! With Christmas approaching I feel the spirit so much more! It is difficult at times this being my first Christmas away from home but I've felt so much love from my family back home. It's been a good ride so far. The members here are lined up to take care of the missionaries. Including some members buying us gifts! They are just so generous and loving.
So Thursday was the ward Christmas party here. It was a blast! Santa came and luckily I was on the nice list and got to take a picture with him. 😂 but 2 of our investigators came and it was so much fun! They had a good time. We sang songs and had a nativity play, we ate wayyy to much food, and laughed a lot. I've gained like 15 pounds! Back home I ate when I was hungry, on the mission I've learned that I eat til I'm full and then I just keep eating 😂 members here love to feed us.
On Sunday was the coolest day. We went to a genesis concert with tons of gospel choir singers. So it was tons of black people just singing hallelujah and amens and praise the Lord's! It was so much fun. Me and elder Shurtliff were probably getting a little to into it😂 the best part was when President Lee was saying a closing prayer and thus guy was just playing the piano the entire time in the background. We were all just like what the heck 😂
After that we went and took pictures by the famous bridge you see in all the pictures as well as friendship fountain. Jacksonville is sooo pretty! I love it so so much. They put GO JAGUARS on the wells Fargo tower because the jags are killing it this week! So that's awesome!
Other than that it's been an amazing week! So much fun I love you all i hope you have a merry Christmas! My next pday will be this Saturday so you'll get another email them! I love you all!
