It's been another great week in the South! I love the people here so much, everyone just has their southern pride and loves to be themselves. It's kinda inspiring at times to just be myself and stick up for what I believe.
So the sisters and us sang in sacrament meeting! We sang I stand all amazed. I've had to do so much singing this week it's ridiculous. But it gets me out of my comfort zone so it's good. Elder Shurtliff and I sang the first verse, the sisters sang the second, and we all sang the third. It was a lot of fun.
On Friday we biked all the way to an investigators house and on the way back my tire like exploded 😂 it was crazy but thankfully the Spanish Elders came in clutch and picked us up haha. We met some crazy guys who were high as kite. One guy was talking about the geometric patterns that planes make when they fly and the other was going off on some rant about God I don't even know what he said.
We got to watch the YSA face to face event last night! Wow I learned so much and it was so fun to watch. They talked A lot about beliefs, families, and growing a testimony. If you haven't watched it yet I highly encourage it! It's funny and spiritual at the same time and it can answer a lot of questions. I think the face to face events are a great way for the apostles to connect with us each independently. They seemed to touch on a lot of different topics a lot of them relating to me and I loved it.
I hope everyone has a good thanksgiving! We have some fun appointments lined up with some members for dinner. I'm excited but also nervous that I'll fill up on the first dinner 😂 good ol Normandy I love it here! I love you all i hope everyone is doing great!
Much love, Elder Lamb ❤
