"It is not enough that we do our best; sometimes we must do what is required." - Winston Churchill

When I was young, my Dad had a painting, based off of this portrait with the quote below. A similar quote can be found in the Book of Mormon, in 1 Nephi 3:7. However, in my life this quote has been my rallying cry in the face of adversity. It gives a sense of allegiance to the covenants and promises I've made, and the assignments I've been given. While Winston Churchill is not by any means a perfect man, he has been an example of manhood to me.

Similarly, we are called to "go on (or, endure) to the end," and "fight on the seas and oceans, ... with growing confidence and growing strength." We defend our beliefs "whatever the cost may be".

A picture I took while I was out proselyting.
This week has been hard, but I persevere! I know that the Church is true, and that this is the last time the Lord will raise a warning voice to the wicked to repent and prepare to meet their God. I know that the second coming is near, and prophecy is being fulfilled as we speak. I know this is the Church of the Lamb, and is built on the foundations of prophets and apostles. I know that we are guided by revelation in these days. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
