My day was made!

G'day Y'all!
Another week in Rocky! Honestly, this week went by really quickly. However there was one particular experience that made my day. Everyone will probably think it's weird but, as a missionary you learn to appreciate the good ones 😉So we were on our merry way tracting and talking to people in our new area since the sisters moved out. So here we are with no idea where we are going and we get to this one house. Well the door was open and the fly screen was closed so we just knocked and the guy walked over to the door. We started talking and he said while we were talking "I don't want any of your stuff!" and slammed the door so hard that our ears were ringing a bit, it was a really impressive slam. The best I've had on my mission.
People wonder why I put up with all this. It's pretty simple. I know that what we as missionaries have to share WILL help ANYONE. It doesn't matter the circumstances it doesn't matter the beliefs. All we do is teach. We don't convert, or persuade or manipulate or anything like that. We are here to tell what has brought us peace and guidance and reassurance in this troubled world. I along with Paul say "For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel..." (1 Corinthians 1:17) That's why I put up with all the abuse we as missionaries get on a daily basis so it doesn't matter. I'm here because I am a son of God! I have been called by His Only Begotten to serve Him valiantly in the great Australia Perth Mission! I yield my life, my will, my desires and my strength to Him! He is my master!
There is one really cool experience we had on Sunday night. We just finished attending a conference and one of the members of the church had an impression to stop by his daughters house on the way home. He felt impressed to give her a fathers priesthood blessing. For those that don't know what that is, It's a blessing given through the priesthood as a way to comfort, guide and protect the ones we love and anyone that needs help. A father's blessing is special. More unique than any other blessing because it is your father or sometimes a father figure. Anyways, we went to give the blessing and she admitted she felt like she needed one. We get promptings from the spirit that many times we ignore and pass them off as our own thoughts  "that which is of God inviteth and enticeth to do good continually; wherefore, every thing which inviteth and enticeth to do good, and to love God, and to serve him, is inspired of God"(Moroni 7:13)
Just to end I'd like to share a quote from Bro. Greening "There are no dumb questions and there are no dumb answers, The only dumb answers are no answers and the only dumb questions are no questions. In a room full of silence there are only dumb people".
