We did so much service this last week! We helped our bishop fix his shed, which resulted in his wife fixing my pants that I ripped months ago, we also did service at the homeless shelter, and helped a member with yard work and taught a ton of English this last week! It was awesome! We also were able to go on exchange with the district leaders this last week and we didn't have a car so we did a ton of walking. I also saw the weirdest McDonalds ever. It looked like a regular house but had
the golden arches in the windows and said McDonalds over the door! Weird stuff.
We were able to meet with Constant and Prisca and they decided to quit coffee and tea! It was pretty easy! They are so close to baptism! It is pretty exciting! We also had a few investigators disappear and never answer their phone. We haveother investigators who are hard to set appointments with and when we go to their house they aren't home but then they will make another appointment and the same thing will happen! It is often enough that we don't know if to drop them or not!
There wasn't anything too crazy that happened this week but it is good! Sorry this email is kinda lame but I will make sure the next one is super amazing!
Weird thing that happened is that Africans will often times offer you things when you compliment their things and there is an African in my ward that always says "Oh, you have a nice tie. Can I have it?" Or "You have a nice iPad. We can share it." or "I like your suit, when can I wear it?" Haha I don't want to offend him but these things are kinda essential... I am planning on wearing a bunch of things from the thrift store and then just give him everything I am wearing! (Don't worry, I will
have back up clothes) Have a wonderful week and always remember, the church is true and God loves you!
