San Vicente - Talcuhuano

Elder Federico Barboza

Another week

This week we had a baptism. Ailin is one of the friends of Krishna (the girl that got baptized and then right after went to the temple). It was super awesome.

The mission office is the same direction but yeah they have a casilla (which is a PO Box) so if it doesn't send. Dang it. Speaking of ties I think the exact opposite that happened to Jeffery is happening to me. I only like wearing 5 ties. But maybe they'll get me more flower ties (I hope)

We're teaching a 9 year old kid whose parents are both members but they got separated and he lives with the mom who is less active but the dad gave us permission to baptize him (the mom too, but the Dad is active in our ward).

We're always looking for new people to teach and the next week is transfers. It's very likely that I'll be leaving (President hinted in the interview) so this week is grind week to leave only the best for my companion to take over San Vicente.

I'm really grateful for the Trust that the Lord has put in me to bring the light into the darkness of the lives of people. There's nothing better than I could be doing. I know it's short but I'm always trying to be just a little bit more obedient every day. Because by obedience we receive miracles and we make miracles happen.

Work hard, and then work harder. Bye.
