So I was just working casually handing out a crud ton of invitations to the temple and we received a call from Our DL and he told us to stop handing them out and bring them to a park where we were going to go for a run with half the mission.
Most people walk to the temple as a youth group but as missionaries we ran all throughout Concepciòn to pass out invitations and we ran what seems like forever. but come to find out that it was less than 5k but I'm super dead.
I haven't ran in like forever.
So we got there and we ran and invited mucho people to the temple and it was super spectacular and my legs still to this day are dead dead dead.
Like they're sore, but like the first day back from winter break big squat day sore. It's bad that walking is terrible. And I walk all day.
We went to the temple with someone we're teaching named Rodrigo. He is 22 years old, and we brought him to the temple to spark a spiritual flame in him. It was such a cool experience. the first time we went we were really rushed but this time the guides gave us all the details and everything it was so cool. No exchanges this week. We still have to visit Rodrigo this week to see how it went but it seems all good.
But yeah so the temple open house only has one week left so I would recommend that you make the trip to Chile and see it. It's free, but you have to pay for your flight.
That Monday I realized how boring it is to be a missionary and have a car because a member used his to take us to all of our appointments. I like walking better.
I loved general conference. 2 hour church super crazy. I loved all the talks given and I really can't decide which is my favorite. But they're all super awesome.
I gave up eating chocolate and cookies this week. And I'm going start exercising so I don't die another time President decides to do a marathon of 2.7 kilometers. He told us they day before at about 6 in the afternoon. So that was crazy.
We're so close to the dedication. Hopefully more pictures of the temple this week.
