So this week was a hard stressful week but it ended awesome! So this was my first full week as a Trainer and District leader so i had to prepare a district meeting and i had no idea how to that so i am fairly certain it made no sense! Training turned out to be harder than you might think especially when you have to translate the majority of what is going on then teach how to speak. I have no idea how my trainer did it! My entrainee is Elder Galvez and he is a capo!! He understands and speaks quite a bit more than he gives himself credit for! It has been super fun getting to know him and having the chance to train him! So this week was full of crazy because we had to run all over looking for two sets of clothing for the 2 baptisms we had this week!
Martin recently got separated from his wife and that is what made him want to come to church. He is neighbors with the Diaz family. He came to church and loved it and went home and told his youngest son Nico about it. Nico decided he wanted to see what it was ike so he came the next week. Hermano Diaz helped them both download the church app and they spent the whole week reading. We finally were able to teach them and in the first lesson Nico asked if he could give a book of mormon to him neighbor and friend Carlos. We gave him one and we have beeen teaching Carlos now as well. We taught them all the lessons and they grabbed on to them immediately. They drank coffee but when they found out they couldnt they threw away all their coffee. They are so awesome i cant even begin to describe them!! They both got baptised Saturday and Sunday I confirmed Martin member and my companion Elder Galvez confirmed Nico. It was such an awesome experience and not one i will ever forget! This Sunday after the confirmations the bishop asked Martin to give his testimony and he gave a stronger testimony than i have ever heard in my life. I was in tears listening to him bear his testimony!!
This was probably one of the best ending to the week a misionary can ask for!! Today and tomorrow we have conference with president and that will take up a good portion of the week. I absolutely love being District leader and Training because it makes me try to be a better person and misionary. I have seen a big difference in myself just since his transfer started!
I love every second of being out here because it brings me new challenges and shows me how to be a better person and how i can help other people in ways i had never thought before!
I know with all my heart this gospel is true and i hope that you can all feel and see that i know it. Not because i want to be regonized for it or get praise but because i put my name in front of the world as a witness of the truth of this gospel and there isnt anyone on this planet or not of this earth that can sway me on that! I love this gospel with all my heart and i hope you all can experience just a portion of the love god has for you because even that little portion is more love and happiness than you can find anywhere else in the world!!!
