Sarmiento Chubut Argentina

Elder Bunker

Last week of training!!!

Hey guys sorry this email is a little late, we had an activity all day yesterday so we didnt get time to email till today.

Anyway this last week was pretty good. We finally got bikes!!! We rode around town and we visited the same amount of people in about half the time! Then Elder Bunker decided to break the chain on his bike. BUT we were walking out to an investigator and a kid came up on his bike and told us that they owned it before and could help us fix the chain. We both kinda just stood there cause we were just talking about what we could do to fix it. The kid rode away and we both just stood there in amazement. It was pretty cool!

I only have 6 days left in my training! We get transfers this friday and i will probably get a new comp, so that will be weird! I am so excited!

This last week we did a Family Home Evening with our branch and watched the video the church came out with for christmas. It was really good even thought it was my comp and i, our branch president, and 2 other hermanas. Thats ok cause of coure there were refreshments and that just meant more for us!

Not a whole lot happened the rest of the week since we were in Comodoro for more than half of it but we still got a lot done. This last week I had a what the heck kinda moment. I was just walking down the street talking with our branch president. We were doing divisions so Bunker was off with the other hermano. We were walking down the road and just talking about life. We happened to see one of our investigators walking in the street. We said hi and talked with him for a second then wet on our way. President and I just kept talking, thats when i realized, I am in Argentina, speaking spanish and not just that but I am having a conversation with someone i met 3 months ago, IN SPANISH!!! It hit me like a ton of bricks, I realized how much the Lord has really helped me in the last few months. 4 months ago is you had told me the by November I would be having conversations with people in spanish I would have called you crazy. Now everything I do is in spanish. Dreams, thoughts, even memories of home are all in spanish. The amazing thing is how natural it is. I can be speaking english with my comp then see someone walking down the street and immediatley switch to spanish to talk to them. I LOVE IT!!!!

Thank you guys for all the help you have given me over my life i couldnt have done anything without you guys! Keep in mind the challenge for Christmas this year and do what you can to serve others!!

Remember those scriptures from John and Matthew!!!
