Hola, this week was awesome! This week me and my companion focused a lot on listening with the spirit in the lessons, and also we focused on how to start teaching. It was awesome as we put both these things into action. We could feel a difference on how the investigators were understanding the message that we taught. This week also me and my companion Elder Jones grew really close together. We talked a lot this week which was awesome. It’s funny because I am at the point in my mission where the mission feels really normal. Like it feels like it’s my life and Republica de Dominican is my home. Haha! I am so grateful for the opportunity I have had in these three weeks with Elder Jones. I have learned a ton and I know that God put us here in Villa Gonzales for a reason. I am also extremely grateful for the opportunity I have to be a district leader. Last week I had the opportunity to interview someone for baptism. It was an awesome experience. I didn’t really know what I was doing but the spirit took over. It’s awesome because that’s how it’s in the lessons too. The spirit always takes over. I love this work. This work has changed me in every way. My testimony grows every day, my love for God and his son Jesus Christ grows every day, my love for the people here in Republica de Dominican grows every day, and the love I have for my companion grows every day. The mission is an amazing experience and I am grateful that I took the journey on. It’s funny because it’s hard for me to write emails in English right wow. Haha! It’s because my Spanish is getting better.
