Howdy Y'all!
Stake Conference here was awesome! We had Elder Southward of the
Seventy here and I loved his talks. It was pretty cool to me how
everything that I had questions about, he mentioned what I needed to
hear in some way shape or form.
So Transfers are this week and I will be staying here in Flo Mo and
Elder Parsons will be my new companion. No one knows who he is so this
will be pretty awesome! Elder Griffin is white washing (what I did in
Belton) Justin which is about 25 minutes west of Flower Mound. His
companion will be Elder Price, not my trainer but a different Elder
who just so happens just finished training in Arlington 1st.... Weird
right?
I don't know if I told you guys about a less-active named Kellan but
he was in the hospital :( yeah, we was in pretty bad shape; in the ICU
for like 8 days and now when we visit we need to gown up which I like
cause it's been a while since I've gowned up. I'll get a pic next
week! He is doing so well and is getting better! Surprisingly, this
will be a great thing for him.
After we visited him in the hospital, we found a note in my helmet
that said "Call me" gave us his name and number. We were pretty
excited, not gonna lie. We. Got home and called him. We set an
appointment up for they next day. Sadly, when we got there, he just
wanted to bash pretty much. At least that we could tell. We only had a
little bit of time with him before we had to go. We will meet with him
again.
Colleen cancelled on us again, we have been trying to get her to the
family history center. Eventually we will get her there!
WE SET A BAPTISMAL DATE WITH BRADON! He is set to be baptized on June
25th. I am so excited! We have another appointment with him tonight so
we are stoked! He is really smart and it makes things pretty easy.
We have been picking up the work in this area and I am excited to meet
Elder Parsons and work our tails off! It has been a lot of fun with
Elder Griffin but transfers happen and life goes on.
