That looks like I spelled "transfers" wrong but I am pretty sure I spelled it right...
Any way, hola! This week we had some pretty awesome stuff happen so it might be a little longer than last weeks haha.
First off, we were on bikes for two weeks. In a car area. A really big car area. I loved it but Elder Farichild can't say the same.  We probably biked at least 60 miles... It was pretty great!
So we were trying to find a guy who lived in the Ward which happens a lot actually. Most of the time it is like an apartment complex or a trailer park and the person just put the building number or the address of the park but no apartment or lot number. Since that was the case here we started knocking all of the trailers. We got pretty far before the "property manager" (I say that because we're not sure if she actually was) kicked us off. She said that we can't solicit there, which we weren't. We explained that we were simply trying to find someone but she said that we can't do that without permission from the office or from the police department. We asked her permission and she said no so we decided to o to the cops! Not in a bad way we were just trying to get some sort of permit or something just to see what we can do. First we went to the county justice complex because it was the closest form of law enforcement office. Keep in mind that we were on bikes an already 6 miles away from our apartment. Well, we were told that we had to go to the county sheriffs office so we did. They directed us to the city of Belton municipal office. We went there and they directed us to the police departments office. Well after all of that, which took up most of our day, we were told that not even the cops can do that there because it is private property. So what we're probably going to do is just use a man in the Ward that works for the army in intelligence haha. He wil be able to find him pretty easily.
On exchange with the district leader, we did the Habeñero Challenge. That was funny, painful, stupid and pretty memorable. I am totally going to do that again! It was ten minutes of fire in my mouth. Remember back in Arlington f-o-r-e-v-e-r ago when Elder Price and I had that pasta stuff that was super hot? Yeah this was hotter than that... But it is worth it just to see the reaction of the other people doing it . I wish I could attach the video but it is ten minutes long... :/ I will try family share again so y'all can watch it.
Okidoki. Transfer doctrine! I will be leaving (sad I know) and I will be headed back up north to the Lewisville zone. I will be serving in the Flower Mound 3rd Ward with Elder Cody Griffin. Aaa and it is a bike area! I am super stoked haha. I already cut my hair haha. I will be senior comp. Again. It has been like 7 months since I was Jr. Oh well haha. It is gonna be a blast!!! My address is this (I think, we're not sure if this is really what it is because of the way it was formatted):
1400 Valley Ridge Blvd. Building 5 #205Lewisville, TX 75077
While we were on bikes we found two people. Alma (cool I know) and Codi. Alma isn't in our area but she is in Killeen and she is pretty interested. Her fiancé just got out of jail so he loves Jesus!
Hmmmm..... Well, I guess it is time for my spiritual thought!
This week I have been reading in Moroni. I came across Moroni 8:25-26 again:
"25 And the first fruits of repentance is baptism; and baptism cometh by faith unto the fulfilling the commandments; and the fulfilling the commandments bringeth remission of sins;
26 And the remission of sins bringeth meekness, and lowliness of heart; and because of meekness and lowliness of heart cometh the visitation of the Holy Ghost, which Comforter filleth with hope and perfect love, which love endureth by diligence unto prayer, until the end shall come, when all the saints shall dwell with God."
When we are living the gospel we are becoming more in tune with Christ. The way we are able to become Christlike is when we are living in accordance with the gospel: always having and growing our faith, it increases our desire to repent, when we repent we have the Holy Ghost with us more and when you have the Holy Ghost you become more aware of your shortcomings and how to improve thus the cycle continues. We develop christlike attributes when we live the gospel. In the gospel of Jesus Christ we are either progressing forward or we are digressing. For those of us that have been baptized, have made that necessary covenant with God and "entered in by the gate" this is called enduring to the end. Every son and daughter of God must be baptized to enter into the kingdom of God. (John 3:3) This is the pathway to salvation and eternal life (those are two different things.) There is a ton more that goes into this but really if I were to sit here and type it all it would take pretty much all day haha.
I love you guys and I hope that everything is going well with you. I pray for you guys everyday!
Love, your missionary son and brother Elder Jefferies
