Kia ora, everyone, this week is all about
Endurance: denoting or relating to a race or other sporting event that takes place over a long distance or otherwise demands great physical stamina
I have realized that serving a mission and being a member of the church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints requires constant spiritual and sometimes physical stamina. (physical for all the callings, and the tracting :) many people get into the gospel as a sprint and they slowly fall behind then take a reaally long water break.
"It is not met that man should run faster than he can walk"
We came to this life realizing that what we do have eternal consequences, eternity is a really long time to try and sprint. God does not expect us to be perfect, but he asks for progression, and that is what we CAN do.
This week we have received a new couple part member, and they want to get married, they are just getting back into the gospel after a 10 year water break. I cannot wait to see them pick themselves back up off the ground, dust themselves off, and continue on their eternal marathon, It has meant alot to me because my sister is also getting married very soon, and I can just feel a connection to her and her eternal companion as they approach this very special step in the marathon.
I love all of yous, and will have more pics next week, also witha new companion, Elder Satele is finished! I saw him off today, and it was way cool.
