Happy Father's day!
Hope that all the Dads had a great day yesterday! Shout out to my favorite (and only) father I have, he's the best in the world. This week was really great, Elder Rac and I are always en la chamba and we've been able to see a lot of great miracles over the last few days in the people we have been able to teach. This Sunday we had 18 of our investigators go to church, and we set an attendance record in Lamlaya with over 90 people that came! It was a cool moment and it's cool to see how much the branch has grown. Many of the families that we have taught have progressed so much and I'm excited to see their Baptisms in the upcoming weeks.
Yesterday we had the cool opportunity to have the baptismal service and wedding for the Family Balderramos! It was a special moment, the family was so happy and it was so cool. My buddy Carlos Espinosa (the ex Moravian pastor we baptized) did the baptism for Hermano Alexis (the dad of the fam) and it was one of the best moments I've ever seen. He had to baptize him twice because he didn't go under the water all the way, but it was hilarious because immediately afterwards he said to Alexis, "well, now you have double the blessings" and we were all dying laughing.
Today we went to go visit the family to see how they were doing and they were so happy! Alexis said that he had never felt so much joy before and he told us that if he died in that moment he would be OK because he knew he'd go to heaven. They were super grateful, and the pledged that they would always remember us and the church. They are going to return to their community of Waspam in 5 months, but Alexis said that there's no problem because they are going to start the church there too haha. I'm super happy for the Family Balderramos and I know that the Lord will bless them in all that they do.

I love this promise from God in DyC 82:10, "I, the Lord, am bound when ye do what I say; but when ye do not what I say, ye have no promise." It's truly remarkable that if we keep our covenants and promises that we make with our Heavenly Father, he promises he will keep his end of the deal. It's truly our decision if we want the blessings that God has for us!
