¡Buenas noches!
Hope all of the Moms out there had a great mother's day! We had a solid week so sorry it's a long email. On Tuesday we took a pretty long bus ride out to Managua and on Wednesday we got to hear from an Area Seventy named Elder Olsen. It was amazing to hear the advice he had for us about how to be more efficient missionaries and work better with the leaders of the church. It was something I took to heart and I hope I can apply it fully here in Lamlaya.
We got back to Puerto Cabezas late Friday night and on Sunday we had our Baptisms for Hermano Carlos (the pastor of the Moravian Church) and hermana Suyen. They are amazing people and it was super cool to see their conversion. Carlos is probably one of the people I've grown closest to on my mission, we found him one day about two months ago when we were walking and he yelled out for us to come up and talk to him. We taught him the Restoration of the Church of Jesus Christ and he immediately accepted it. He told us that it made so much sense and that he knew our church was the true church the Jesus Chirst established. He then talked about how his own church was incorrect and that he needed to be baptized again. It was an amazing experience, and ever since then he has gone to church every week that he has been here in Puerto Cabezas! Throughout all of the opposition he has faced leaving his church and changing his religion, he has stayed faithful and he chose to be baptized despite it all. Suyen is an amazing lady as well, she received here answer that she needed to be baptized when she read the book of Mormon and she's been true to it ever since. I'm sure they will go on to be amazing leaders in the church and I'm so fortunate to have been a part of their conversions.

Spiritual Experience/Thought
A few weeks ago we had a really cool experience that really strengthened my testimony in the power of the priesthood. One day our friend Marlon (the same guy who was Paralyzed) got really sick and his little brother came to our house and told us we needed to go run over super fast and give him a blessing. We showed up to his house and we found him convulsing on the ground, covered in throw up, and throwing his arms everywhere as if he had something trapped inside. A huge crowd had gathered around, so we quickly pushed our way through and ran in, held him down, and gave him a priesthood blessing. We stayed with him and held him down for the next hour, and little by little he began to get better. Many things happened in that time (for 30 seconds he stopped breathing and lost his heartbeat, his aunt tried doing Witchcraft and Witchcraft baths on him), but despite it all he was saved by the power of God. It was amazing the see the moment he opened his eye again and to see that he was fine. He had been comvulsing for over than 5 hours, and thanks to our blessing he got better. It took him a few days to get his strength back, but within a week he was walking completely normal (which was crazy because just 2 weeks earlier he was completely paralyzed). It was an amazing miracle, and it's truly remarkable that we have the power of God on earth in this day to help others. I love this scripture in Doctrine and Covenants 66:9, which says "Lay your hands upon the sick, and they shall recover. Return not till I, the Lord, shall send you. Be patient in affliction. Ask, and ye shall receive; knock, and it shall be opened unto you." I know that the power of the priesthood is real and that it really can bless all of those who need the help of God.
