This week was really cool! On Tuesday we got a visit from the Apostle Quentin L. Cook! All of us met up in Managua and he came and spoke to all of the missionaries in Nicaragua. He spoke about the importance of missionary work and how we can better share the gospel to everyone around us. Then he shared his testimony and it was super powerful! The whole conference was an event that I'm never going to forget, the spirit was so strong and it helped me a lot.
Tuesday night I got a phone call from the AP's telling me that I had transfers and that I needed to pack my bags. I was really suprised and a bit sad to leave the area, and it was really hard to say goodbye to all of the members of the branch of San Benito and I am going to miss them a lot.
My new area is called Lamlaya in the city of Puerto Cabezas! To get here we took a plane which was super cool. It's on the carribean side of Nicaragua and it a whole different vibe. Almost everyone here speaks a language called miskitu with a bit of Spanish, so we are learning a new dialect to communicate with the people as well. It's definitely a different culture but I'm so excited to work here with my new comp Elder Mejia! It's so beautiful and the people are amazing.
