What's up!
Today we went to the Volacan Masaya for Zone Pday and it was really cool. We were only allowed to be at the crest for 7 min because it's a very active volcano and its about in danger to erupt, but it was still a great time.
This week was really great! I had a pretty funny experience with the Familia Arevalo last Saturday. We have been teaching this family for quite some time, the mom was baptized 15 years ago but the rest of her family aren't members (yet). When we showed up to the house we saw that the family needed a bit of yard work done, so I quickly grabbed the machete and got to work chopping away some of the weeds and overhanging tree branches. I was in the middle of cutting off one of the branches from a Avacado tree when all of the sudden I felt something begin to pinch/sting me all over my face. I looked over at the end of the tree branch and I saw that there was a giant bee hive, and the bees weren't too happy to see a gringo in their tree! While I got stung a bunch all over haha, it ended up being a blessing because the family thought it was hillarious and 5 min later we were able to share a message with them and put the rest of the family on date to be baptized! My face was a bit swollen, but the spirit took away all of the pain and I was able to share what they needed to hear. I'm excited to see them continue to progress and find happiness back in the church, the pain was definitely worth the reward.

Spiritual Thought
2 Nephi 5:26, "And it came to pass that we lived after the manner of happiness." Here in San Benito is that I got called to teach Sunday School, and this week we were studying about how people of Nefi were blessed by living the commandments of God. They still had problems, but thanks to their obedience to God they were blessed with happiness. Just like them, we can live a joyous life if we live the commandments.
