¡Buenas Días!
Hope everyone had a great time enjoying the Super Bowl! It was a bit sad not being able to watch sports this year, but I know that it will still be there when I get back and that the Chargers and Angels probably will still be in the same place I left them haha jk.
Its been a great week here in San Benito! Last Saturday we had a baptism for Hna Edhixa and after that we put together a branch movie night! It was a great experience, we worked hard planning and inviting as many people as we could to the activity, and it was super cool to see 30+ people show up! Many investigators and members (some hadn't been to the church in over 10 years) came to the activity and enjoyed watching the movie, eating popcorn, and meeting new people. Sunday was amazing too because over 40 people came to church (which is huge for San Benito)! I'm hoping we can continue to work hard to help this branch continue to grow and hopefully become a ward one day.
Tuesday night we had another crazy experience as well. Even though we weren't hungry, we decided to go to dinner that night with our pensionista. We took while to eat and afterwards we stayed a bit later than usual talking with her and her 11 and 12 year old sons. Just as we were about to leave and head out the door, my comp and I felt a strange prompting that we needed to look back. When we turned around, we saw our pensionista, Hna Noelia, begin to hunch over and fall. We quickly ran over to catch her and sit her down at a nearby chair. After about 30 seconds, I realized that she was having a stroke. We made sure to make her as comfortable as possible, and I continued to check her vitals and her symptoms for the next hour and a half until a member was able to come and switch us out. It was a crazy miracle, if God hadn't put us there or been with us every step of the way who knows what would've happened. She was only with her two sons and without a way to call for emergency help (there's no 911 in Nicaragua). I'm so grateful that God knows each and every one of his children and that he can use us to help others in their times of need.
I hope you guys have a great week, stay safe and dry!

- P-Day we found the bougiest sit down restaurant that I've seen in the mission here in San Benito and it was insane! It felt like walking back into the United States again haha, I bought a hamburger and some fries and it was so good.
