¡Buenas Días!
Another great week here in La Dalia! One of the best parts of this week was that we were able to have a baptism for a kid named Joksel. We have been teaching him and his mom for the last 4 months that I have been here, so it was really cool to see him make this covenant (or promise) with God. His mom was baptized years before, but hadn't been to church in over a year so it was amazing to see her watch her son and remember how the gospel can bless our lives.
The baptism was a miracle in itself as well. The day before my companion and I cleaned the baptismal font and filled it up with a tiny bit of water before we had to leave. Sunday morning we showed up at the church extra early to turn on the water again and there wasn't any more water! We searched for more places to get water, but no one had any. As the meeting was about to begin, my comp and I said a prayer and asked God if he could help us have a baptism today. We started the meeting, and by the time we finished and went outside we found water pouting out of the faucet and the baptismal font filled up. Thanks to the will of God, we were able to have a baptism Sunday and help bless Joksel and his family.

Spiritual Thought
Moroni 10:32-33, "Yea, come unto Christ, and be perfected in him, and deny yourselves of all ungodliness; and if ye shall deny yourselves of all ungodliness, and love God with all your might, mind and strength, then is his grace sufficient for you, that by his grace ye may be perfect in Christ; and if by the grace of God ye are perfect in Christ, ye can in nowise deny the power of God. And again, if ye by the grace of God are perfect in Christ, and deny not his power, then are ye sanctified in Christ by the grace of God, through the shedding of the blood of Christ, which is in the covenant of the Father unto the remission of your sins, that ye become holy, without spot." The final words of Moroni in the Book of Mormon are powerful. His invitation for all to "come unto Christ and be perfected in him" is an amazing testament to rhe purpose of this book. I know that this message has changed my life and that it has changed with lives of so many others as well.
