What's up!
This week was a bit busy with Zone Conference but it was pretty good! It's been great working with the members here, they have a lot of good advice and their testimonies are strong. We have 4 families we are teaching right now and I'm super excited to help them continue and progress.
In La Dalia it's been super cool seeing how everyone is preparing for Christmas! Since Thanksgiving isn't celebrated here, everyone begins putting up whatever Christmas decorations they have right after the day of the dead (November 2nd in Nicaragua). My parents are amazing and sent me a mini Christmas tree and some decorations for me and my comp and we've already put a lot of up. Before the mission my dad was very strict about Christmas and how we couldn't decorate or listen to Christmas music until December, so it definitely feels really weird but I'm loving adapting to the culture here.

Spiritual Thought
-One of the main themes of this week for me was "faith" and the power of the Book of Mormon. It was something that our Mission President talked about during Zone Conference, what I read over and over during my personal study, and the topic of my talk on Sunday. One of the things I like about faith is how we only need a little bit of it for faith to function. I'm sure you've heard this before, but the word "faith" in spanish is "fe." It's a small word, it's only two letters, but it is very powerful. In Mathew 17:20, Jesus teaches that "If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you." The only thing the Lord asks is to have a bit of "fe" to see and recieve blessings and miracles in our life.
