¡Buenas Días!
It's been a pretty great week! Elder Soto (my new comp) and I have been able to work super hard. It's been so cool to see how the Holy Ghost has guided us to find the right people who are ready to hear the gospel. He is always there, we just have to take the time to listen and act the promptings we recieve.
Yesterday we had an amazing experience finding the Flores Family. It was about 6:30 at night and it had been a bit of a rough day, all of our lessons had fell through and we were pretty tired (especially because we had worked so hard throughout the week). It was a bit tempting just to head back and call it a day, but my comp and I made the choice to continue on and visit one more house. When we got there we found an amazing family! At first they were shocked that we both had the name "Elder" haha because both the Dad and the Son of the family had the name of "Helder" (which is actually a pretty popular name is Nicaragua too)For about 20 years they had been trying out different churches to know which one had the truth and they hadn't received an answer yet. After we shared the message of the restoration with them, they were so excited because no other church had a message so clear and centered on Jesus Christ. It was a miracle that we had found them too, they were a family of teachers that taught at schools far away so they only time they were at their house was after 6:30 at night on weekends. If the Lord hadn't been guiding our efforts, there is no way we could've been able to find them. This week we've been blessed to find so many positive people like the Flores Family, and I'm so excited to keep teaching all of them next week.

Fun Fact about Nicaragua 🇳🇮
Nicaragua is a bit weird because there is no day light savings! The sun comes up at 5 in the morning and goes down at 5 at night, which means the whole town wakes up at 5 and goes to bed at 8!
Spiritual Thought
Ether 12:27 "And if men come unto me I will show unto them their weakness. I give unto men weakness that they may be humble; and my grace is sufficient for all men that humble themselves before me; for if they humble themselves before me, and have faith in me, then will I make weak things become strong unto them." This scripture is amazing and super powerful. We all have weaknesses, it's a part of being human. The important thing is that we humble ourselves and rely on the Lord for help, and it is promised he will make those weaknesses our strengths. It won't be easy, it will take a lot of hard work and faith but God will always be there to help.
