So we had exchanges this week and I got to go work in a Spanish area for the day. In the past, I got to do a lot of administrative stuff, fix the car tire, figure out baptism paperwork, and a handoff lesson in English. It was we talked to a lot of people and I'm glad half of them could speak English. The two highlights of the day were when we found two awesome investigators for the Hermana's and dinner. I understood like 5 words over dinner but it was Super good! I love how they eat with small tortillas instead of forks. I'm glad this is God's work and not mine, otherwise who knows how that day would have gone.
So next transfer (two wednesdays from now) Pday will move to tuesday so that we might have the opportunity to go the temple every now and then.
I heard that there are two people I knew and worked with are getting baptized soon, Tirzah Baxter and Tom Mallory! Not sure if I will be able to visit but Ita so cool!!! And Elder Muhonen will be baptizing someone from a past area on Saturday.
Back to last week, whiteridge is the nick name for another zone and we had the opportunity to play them in soccer last week. We absolutely creamed them! In a nice way, we were good sportsmen and everyone had fun.
We as a zone have the goal of baptizing 20 a month (doing pur part to reach the 50 as a missionary). So our district had some fun with that. And a member showed me this awesome room! They put barn wood around the bottom and glued dictionary pages to the wall!
Elder Muhonen is awesome, he's super energetic and bold. I've really enjoyed getting to know him.
As for the area, Jackson Smithline had two Proms last week so we'll see him this week. The husband of that part member family from last week wants to get Baptiazed and do his mother's work so we're working on that.
