This was a good week. We had two exchanges planned one with Vancouver 3rd ward Elders and with the Zone Leaders. Normally, since Van 3rd isn't in our district we wouldn't be going on exchanges with them. But since their district consists of ASL sisters and the Zone Leaders, who are always busy, they are exchanging with other companionship. So I went to Van 3rd with Elder LeSuer on thursday and had a lot of fun. We had everything lined up for a nice, easy day and right after our first appointment we got a flat tire (they are on bikes as well). We spent the rest of the day playing.... Draft deleted... catchup. Fixed the tire that night and had member rides the whole day. Sunday we got a flat tire and 8 different people offered help. One of them got us a kit with everything we needed. Oh, I might go teach a deaf guy on Tuesday, he wants to talk with elders so Elder Packer and I (the only elder in the zone who know any ASL) should be going. We'll see what happens.
Lately I've been studying unity, and two talks I like so far are "our hearts knit as one" and "In praise of those who save". Unity is something I want to improve with my companions, so that we can more fully join our efforts in serving the Lord. Also, I'm finding that faith is belief and trust in Christ. Hope you have a great rest of your week, love you,
