Castle Rock

Elder Turner

Can you believe I've been gone for 6 months? It feels like I just got to Castle Rock two weeks ago and entered the MTC a couple days before! And here I am, going off to another area with Elder Ferris! Its going to be a lot of fun getting to know Elder Ferris some more. He started training one transfer after me in the Kelso Ward (the kelso and castle rock wards meet in the same building).
We are going to Hazel Dell (like Brooklyn in New York, except in Vancouver) and I'm hearing a lot of good things about it. Elder Turner served there and Elder Whitman served in van 1st (the two wards are combined). It seems like a good area and most importantly, it has a car 😎.

They are playing risk.... I dont know if I would suggest playing as a missionary... unless you all play honorably and with no bystanders.

I have enjoyed being here in Castle Rock. There are a lot of good people here. The Godfrey's, the Norton's, the Hall's, the Blackburn's, and the Fine's. They have been so awesome, feeding us and doing what they can to be a light unto the world.

Christmas was a lot of fun. It was SO good to see everyone. I loved the miracast device; i havent been able to use it much yet but its super fun to play with. I think I will be working through all the candy for quite a while. And having a flash drive is Soooooooo nice! I can print typed documents and transfer things to others supper easily now.

Thanks for looking at that record for me, hope your week goes well,
Elder Nielsen
