It's been a fun week. We had exhanges with Elder Fua from Samoa. I was super nervous, leading the area with nothing schedualed for the whole day. But personal study came around and I found some good scriptures. 2 Nephi 8 "9 Awake, awake! Put on strength, O arm of the Lord; awake as in the ancient days...12 I am he; yea, I am he that comforteth you. Behold, who art thou, that thou shouldst be afraid of man, who shall die, and of the son of man, who shall be made like unto grass?" Jeremiah 1 "But the Lord said unto me, Say not, I am a child: for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I command thee thou shalt speak. 8 Be not afraid of their faces: for I am with thee to deliver thee, saith the Lord." I love those two scriptures, (not sure what it means with grass though :) the lord doesn't care if we've had years to prepare, if we know what we are doing, so long as we do what he asks us to do, it will work. And, not only will it work, it will be amazing! It was a good day, we asked and put someone on date to be baptized.
That Lego derby looks like fun, it kinda makes more sence than a pinewood derby cause I'd suspect most people dont have ready access to the needed tools now days. Ok, maybe they do, I have no idea. How did that get me wanting to watch the mighty ducks? Totally random. I can't wait to see what they will do with the Rivoli though, that sounds like fun. wish they had let us do it but I'm glad someone who can use it is.
Castle Rock is doing well, there are a couple people who are progressing well, they just need to realize waiting does them nothing, they will feel SOOOOOOOO much better if they just get it done! (They keep telling us missionaries that faith can't do two things, change the will of God, and override agency, I wonder why... :) It'll be weird to be serving here with out Elder Tenney next week though, he's weird, but I've grown to like him. We'll find out who my new companion is on saturday though, and where Elder Tenney and Elder Wilde will be serving.
